LARC’s Community Supports and Services oversees two programs aimed at allowing the individuals we serve to remain in their community living on the terms they and their family choose. These programs work with each person’s natural supports like family and friends.
Personal Care Attendant services are offered in the family home. Supported Independent Living services are in the individual’s own home.
Personal Care Attendant or PCA services provide support to individuals and family in their home environment. The services we provide assist in promoting self reliance, social interaction, enhanced family functioning, and community interaction.
Supervised Independent Living or SIL assists individuals living in their own home. We work with each person in further developing and maintaining social, community, and adaptive skills necessary for the individual to reside on their own and be a part of the community of their choice.
