The Supported Employment program at LARC provides a full range of services, which enable people with disabilities to access and succeed in competitive employment.
In order to receive Supported Employment Services, the individual is required to be eligible for services with Louisiana Rehabilitation Services (LRS). For more information on LRS eligibility, please visit them at www.laworks.net or call them at 337-262-5353.
Supported Employment Services include assessment, employment planning, job seeking skills, training and assistance, job accommodations and modifications, job development and placement activities, on-the-job training, natural supports training, job retention support and follow along services.
LARC has long-term employees of the Supported Employment program that work at state facilities, national food chains and hospitality industry and various local businesses.
